As part of sharing love which is significant of the Christmas Festivity, SpreadAid International payed a visit to Hope Children's Home in Haatso.
It is a Christian home for kids without biological parents and with disabilities, housing about 27 boys and 13 girls, which is however opened to all children at all times.
We arrived at the home a little past 9 AM. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed with hugs and smiles from the children and caretakers.
A few pleasantries were exchanged and we presented items to the children and home. Items included rice, vegetable oil, canned fish, tomato, milk, milo, exercise books and pencils, water, cereals, just to mention a few.
The man-in-charge, Pastor Ashley, thanked us verily and encouraged us to continue the good work.
We took leave by 11:30 AM. It was a time of great joy and love for everyone present.
Awesome moment it was. I'm glad to be part of this vision.
